Living Longer With HeartMate 3
CardioMEMS is helping more people live longer. That鈥檚 terrific news.
But that鈥檚 not all. (or LVAD, also known as a heart pump) is doing even more.
Five years more, as of more than 1,000 people show, thanks to the only commercially approved heart pump with Full MagLev technology, which allows the device鈥檚 rotor to be 鈥渟uspended鈥 by magnetic forces.
More than 20,000 people have benefitted from HeartMate 3. It鈥檚 just the start of what鈥檚 possible for some of those 6.2 million.3
鈥淭here are too many patients who aren鈥檛 provided the opportunity to be evaluated for a heart pump,鈥 said Keith Boettiger, vice president of 91社区福利's heart failure business. 鈥淲ith broader awareness and improved access to a heart pump, we can give these patients a chance at a longer, fuller life.鈥
Millions and Millions
Longer, fuller lives. Multiple. With the possibility for multitudes.
Lives like 础惫别谤测鈥檚. And Beth. And Iris. And Tiara.
As well as the lives of those who care for them, so they can rest a little easier knowing that their time together won鈥檛 be so short. It鈥檚 a commodity too many take for granted, right up until they鈥檙e running short.
These technologies are helping more people than ever before. They鈥檙e among the countless ways we鈥檙e working to reach one in three people around the world to live their best lives by 2030. That鈥檚 how we see a sustainable future: One that starts with health.
鈥淟iving (for now) with heart failure?鈥
How about: 鈥淟iving (more of your life the way you want, and living it longer) with heart failure.鈥
The time is now. And it comes with the promising potential of regaining in your life what you lost to heart failure.
Say it loud, so everyone can hear.
